the essential
On February 19, the Touraine group EZ3kiel will set the Florida scene on fire. With his album Mémoire du Feu, they kick off the musical season of the Agenaise hall.
The music once once more enters Florida. After an interruption of standing concerts due to the health situation, the legendary Agen hall welcomes the first artists of its 2022 season. The Touraine group EZ3kiel is packing their bags for their tour in Agen to play their new album, Mémoire du feu, on Saturday February 19 at 8:30 p.m.
This seventh opus with a background of rock, electro and folk, was born from the collaboration between the historic members of the group Johan Guillon and Stéphane Babiaud, accompanied by Nicolas Puaux, and the author of thrillers and noir novels Caryl Ferey. A project that will have taken nine years to mature but is now ready to be presented live to Agen spectators.
The meeting of music and literature
Beyond a concert, it is also a story that the group offers to its Agen fans. This story is that of Diane and Duane, the almost twins, whose love burns and is consumed over the course of a season in hell to finally be reborn from its ashes.
This story, told in song – a form more than unheard of at EZ3kiel – by Jessica Martin-Maresco (Diane) and Benjamin Nerot (Duane), was designed by the group to carry the spectators away.
Usually authors of an instrumental and cinegenic sound, the group originating from the tour engages during its tour and during its stay in Florida in a risk-taking that broadens its artistic spectrum.
