Exynos 2400: Samsung’s new processor could bring 10 cores

A Samsung made an important decision with the line Galaxy S23: all models were launched only with chips from Qualcomm, regardless of region. However, it seems that the company intends to change this strategy in next year’s flagships, as the Exynos 2400, which should be shipped in the line Galaxy S24can bring no less than 10 cores.

competent processor

According to information from leaker Ice Universe, known for accurate leaks, the Exynos 2400 will have 10 cores arranged as follows: 1 Cortex-X4, 2 high-frequency Cortex-A720, 3 low-frequency Cortex-A720 and 4 Cortex-520.

Apparently, this new processor has been developed especially for the line Galaxy S24with the aim of delivering better performance and, of course, pleasing consumers who do not appreciate the South Korean components for their inferior performance when compared to the models of the Qualcomm.

Exynos 2400 can deliver great performance

Anyway, if the Samsung implement a 10-core architecture efficiently, it is possible that other well-known vendors, such as Qualcomm it’s at MediaTekalso bet on this pattern in their high-end chips.

Still, we’ll have to wait for other leaks to confirm (or not) the existence of the Exynos 2400. For now, the best processors on the market are the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with eight cores up to 3.2 GHz, and the A16 Bionic from Apple, which offers “only” 6 cores up to 3.4 GHz.
