This year’s Galaxy S23 series all use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, which makes consumers who were assigned to the Exynos version market in the past quite excited, thinking that they finally don’t have to accept second-class treatment. Although the Galaxy S23 series does not use the Exynos 2300 processor, some foreign media recently discovered that its running scores appeared on the Geekbench website.

The Exynos 2300 has canceled this supposedly stillborn processor, appearing in a mysterious device with the same model number. According to the data displayed on Geekbench, the number of the device submitted for testing is SM-S919O. This number does not match the naming method of various Galaxy phones currently on the market. It is estimated that some internal personnel are testing the engineering machine. It is understood that Exynos 2300 is a 3-cluster 9-core processor, consisting of a 2.6GHz super large core, four 2.59GHz performance cores and four 1.82GHz energy-saving cores.

Exynos 2400 passed to ten cores

Although the Exynos 2300 is said to have been cancelled, it is rumored that Samsung is actively developing the Exynos 2400 and plans to apply it to the Galaxy S24 next year. The new processor will have 10 cores. As for the Exynos 2200, it is rumored that Samsung will apply it to the Galaxy S23 FE to be released later in order to save costs and maintain profitability.
