The Saudi meteorologist, Dr. Khaled Al-Zaaq, said, “It is advisable during these days, and for the next 45 days, to avoid overland travel at noon due to the high temperature and the rise of toxic winds that stir up creeping dust, and it is better to travel at the end or the beginning of the day.”

And he added, through his Twitter account: During these days, we see a storm of wind, and these winds are divided into two parts: permanent winds on the coasts of Tehama, Yemen, and the Horn of Africa, and work to stir up dust and suspended soil throughout the summer season. With the sun, it begins with its sunrise, and its sludge intensifies at noon, and when the sun sets, dust settles on things, and the public call it the season of “al-Bawareh”, which is the wind that works to displace the desert sands.

And Al-Zaaq continued: “The permanent, rising, and dusty winds continue throughout the summer season, and it is hot (the winds of poisons) during the two seasons of” heavy rain and anthrax “of 52 days.”

For its part, the National Center of Meteorology expected, in its report on the weather in Saudi Arabia, today, that the active winds that stir dust and dust that limit the range of horizontal vision will affect parts of the regions: the northern borders, Riyadh, the eastern, Najran, as well as parts of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah regions, especially the coastal ones; While the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy with thunderstorms interspersed with rain over parts of the Jazan and Asir regions.
