Dakar, July 6 (APS) – The Guinea-Bissau capital is hosting an extraordinary session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) on Saturday, we learned from official source.
The recent evolution of the economic and financial situation of the Union and its prospects as well as the note on the process of elaboration of the prospective vision of WAEMU by 2040 will be examined, among other things, indicates the management of the communication of the organization in a press release.
The members of the Statutory Council of Ministers and the heads of WAEMU institutions will take part in this session scheduled for Saturday from 3 p.m. at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guinea Bissau, it is reported.
