The deadline for the payment of contributions for the flood victims of Thessaly is extended for an additional 6 months.
The extension comes in response to the ongoing hardships faced by those affected by the disasters floods of 2023.
Specifically, according to newsit, the payment can be made until September 30, 2024, the payment of contributions by the flood victims and especially for businesses, employers and insured persons who maintain a professional establishment or carry out an activity in areas of Thessaly and which have been universally affected by the floods of September 2023.
The suspension of payment of contributions lasts for 12 months (instead of the previous 6), starting from 1 October 2023 and the application for inclusion in the arrangements can be submitted within the time of the suspension, i.e. until 30 September 2024, instead of 31 March which was in effect before the change.
