Following the success achieved throughout the summer by the Monfreid exhibition under the sun of Gauguin, the Hyacinthe Rigaud art museum informs us of its extension until the end of 2022.
Already more than 35,000 visitors of all nationalities and from the Catalan country have had the pleasure of discovering the route dedicated to George Daniel de Monfreid (1856-1929) and the close relationship he maintained throughout his life with Paul Gauguin (1848-1903). In order to respond to the enthusiasm of the public and to a strong demand, in this new school year, from school audiences (from nursery school to the university sector), the entire team of the Hyacinthe Rigaud art museum has worked on the extension of the event.
After the impact of the health crisis on museum attendance and public access to works, the Hyacinthe Rigaud art museum has chosen to deploy cultural programming for the public in its area of implantation.
