The Euroleague has extended the suspension of Russian basketball clubs for the next season. About it reported on the tournament website.

This decision was made at a meeting of Euroleague shareholders.

In addition, the candidacy of Dejan Bodiroga for the post of President of the Euroleague was approved.

The Euroleague initially excluded Russian clubs in March 2022. CSKA, Kazan UNICS and St. Petersburg “Zenith” might not finish the season due to suspension, their results in the tournament were annulled.

Last season also passed without Russian clubs. At the same time, CSKA is a shareholder of the Euroleague and the owner of a long-term license A.
