A study of the Forbes highlighted that 40% of users surveyed had personal information compromised when using this type of connection. This, therefore, would have led ExpressVPN to develop a solution.

Aircove Go aims to combine the convenience of public Wi-Fi with privacy, as highlighted by Aircove’s product manager, David Gilbertwhich highlights the vulnerabilities of public Wi-Fi networks due to their openness.

We built Aircove Go to solve this; so you can take your home network wherever you go and protect your online activities anywhere, even on public Wi-Fi. Think of Aircove Go as your digital security companion: you can use it in a home office, entertainment room, hotel, co-working space, and more.

Unlike its predecessor, which relies on Ethernet, Aircove Go introduces a feature called Wi-Fi Link on AircoveOS, allowing access to wireless networks through local Wi-Fi connections.

Additionally, the device has a coverage area of up to 70 square meters and supports an unlimited number of devices, overcoming the limitations of ExpressVPN’s eight-device maximum.

It has Wi-Fi dual-band AX1800 MU-MIMO with speeds of up to 600/1,200Mbps on 2.4/5GHz bands, CPU quad-core 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 128MB of storage, as well as features such as threat management, parental controls, ad blocking and automatic updates.

Among the 33 countries where Aircove Go was launched are: United States, Australia, Canada, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

For those interested, Aircove Go already can be purchased on American Amazon, for US$170, with a one-year warranty; It does, however, require a subscription to ExpressVPN, offering a 30-day free trial of the service for new users. However, there is still no forecast for its launch in Brazil.
