According to the official news agency APP, in the joint declaration of the government and coalition parties on the recent situation in Palestine, the participants expressed their anger and outrage over the “Israeli cruelty and brutality” that has been going on in Palestine for nine months.

According to the statement: “The participants strongly condemned the Israeli atrocities and expressed their full solidarity with the innocent Palestinian brothers and sisters and expressed their deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.”

It was agreed in the meeting that ‘this incident is a deliberate conspiracy to stop the ongoing atrocities on Palestinians and to sabotage efforts to establish peace in the region.’

The declaration made a strong demand that “the needy Palestinians should be ensured immediate access to humanitarian aid.”

It was decided in the meeting that ‘Pakistan will continue the delivery of relief goods to Palestine and will take effective measures for the medical assistance of the oppressed Palestinian brothers and sisters, under which the injured Palestinians will be brought to Pakistan for treatment.’

In the meeting, it was decided that Palestinian medical students will be admitted to the medical colleges of Pakistan to continue their education.

The meeting “decided to observe a day of mourning across Pakistan tomorrow (Friday) in solidarity with our Palestinian brothers and sisters and in unequivocal condemnation of Israeli brutality.”

According to the statement: “In the meeting, it was also decided to perform the funeral prayer of Ismail Haniyeh in absentia throughout the country tomorrow after Friday prayers and to present a special resolution to express full solidarity with Palestine in the parliament.”
