A young woman from Kollam Ayur, who came to UAE with many dreams, had to face an unparalleled misery. The young woman shared shocking experiences with Reporter TV regarding the days when she had to stay in a dark room without even food.
It is not a new news that people including Malayalees are victims of visa fraud in foreign countries. But some people’s experiences are shocking. The young woman from Kollam had to face such an ordeal in the UAE. The job of a home nurse offered by the agent and the good salary enticed the girl from Kollam like any ordinary girl. I boarded the plane to UAE from the middle of the ages with many dreams. But when he came here, he realized that he was cheated.
Then came the long days of miserable life. The first agent was transferred to another days later. Then staying in a dark room with twenty women. Every movement was monitored by security personnel through CCTV. No one was allowed to talk or make phone calls. Food was given only once. Those were three days of hunger.
There were regarding 100 other young women in the villa where the girl was kept. All have been victims of visa fraud and have been here for a long time.
