CExports cross the 100 billion dirhams mark for the first time, indicates the Office which has just published its recent monthly indicators of foreign trade.
This increase concerns sales in the construction segment (+46.2%), those in the wiring segment (+27.6%) and, to a lesser extent, those in the vehicle interiors and seats segment (3.4%). ), specifies the same source.
With regard to sales of phosphates and derivatives, they increased by 54.8% to stand at 108.04 billion dirhams at the end of November 2022 once morest 69.78 billion dirhams at the end of November 2021.
This increase is attributable to the increase in exports of natural and chemical fertilizers (+30.024 billion dirhams) due to the price effect which has almost doubled, explains the Office, adding that on the other hand, the quantities exported fall by 12.1 %.
At the same time, exports of the agricultural and agri-food sector stood at more than 73.8 billion dirhams at the end of November 2022, an increase of 18.3% compared to the same period of 2021.
This development is explained by the simultaneous increase in sales of the food industry (+21.8%) and agriculture, forestry and hunting (+13.7%).
For their part, textile and leather exports increased by 22.2% (+7.43 billion dirhams) for the first eleven months of the year, due to the increase in sales of ready-made clothing (+23, 2%), knitwear (+14.4%) and footwear (+33.2%).
