Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur) organizes for this Thursday the 23rd the “Expo Holy Week 2023”, with all the tourist offer of the country for holy days.
In the premises of Tourist Róga Costanera will be shown all the experiences of rural tourism, religious tourism, cultural, nature, gastronomy, adventure, rural, fishing, history and shopping.
Each department of the country will have an informative stando. There will also be a gastronomic offer, Chipa Apo competition and handicrafts.
The expo will be this Thursday, March 23 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The opening will be attended by the Minister of the Senatur, Sofía Montiel, and special guests.
The National Symphony Orchestra, the Cateura Recycled Instruments Orchestra and the Folkloric Ensemble of the National Police will perform during the event.
Activities Calendar
During the expofair, the calendar of activities for Easter will be presented, which will include activities such as the Jesuit Route, the tour of the seven churches of Asunción, the Creole Mass in Tañarandy, and the living painting of the Fourth Station in Luque.
The tourist offer also includes other activities such as the Yerba Mate Route, eco-adventure options, camping, guided tours, museums, etc.
The Senatur promotes the Holy Week Expo 2023 with the aim of boosting tourism and bringing options closer to citizens. The event with the support of Itaipu Binacional, the governments and providers of tourist services in the interior.
