Asuncion, IP Agency.- This Saturday, the Expo Mariano Roque Alonso was opened and will run until July 21. State institutions are present with innovative stands to share the services they offer to citizens.
This is one of the most important events in the country and has also been declared of tourist and cultural interest by Senatur, being without a doubt one of the most emblematic and significant places for all Paraguayans.
The event, which takes place in the city of Mariano Roque Alonso, is renewed and becomes stronger and more multitudinous, combining the best business and growth opportunities with the most exciting attractions, and which once once more invites you to be part of Paraguay, which strives to provide new growth opportunities.
Tickets cost G. 25,000, including access to all shows and events in the Central Arena. Children under 12 years old do not pay. This fair will be open to the public until July 21.
It is worth mentioning that, as every year, a wide range of state institutions will be present at the Expo Mariano, with the aim of bringing the different services they offer closer to the public, such as the Binationalthe Agricultural Credit Facility (CAH), the National Tourism Secretariat (Senatur), the National Tax Revenue Directorate (DNIT), among others.
About the activities
Expo 2024 has a calendar full of varied activities where two innovations for the general public stand out: On the evening of this Saturday, July 6, the outstanding national artists Marilina and K-Chiporros will perform.
The Employment Expo will be held on Friday, July 12, which seeks to promote the commitment of companies to the generation of job opportunities, especially with first jobs and youth employment, and which, in the last edition, sought to fill 1,570 vacancies in various areas of companies in different areas of Asunción and Greater Asunción, becoming the largest Employment Expo in Paraguay.
On Saturday the 13th, there will be the official opening ceremony and in the evening there will be an international concert with the great show of L Gante + Callejero Fino + DJ Treekoo + Migrante.
On Sunday, July 14, the second innovation of this year will take place, the EXPO Asador, where the bet will be doubled to demonstrate the quality of Paraguayan meat and the talent of our grillers in a spectacular barbecue championship to be contested in two categories: amateur and professional exhibitors. This competition promises to become a classic, bringing together competitors from all over the country!
As in every edition, the Livestock sector will be present with more than 350 exhibitors and 20 breeder associations, who will house in their sheds more than 2,600 specimens of different species: bovine, ovine, equine and caprine, which will participate in competitions, fairs and exhibitions, from which the great champions will emerge, breaking records year following year.
On Monday, July 15, the traditional awards ceremony for the best stands will be held, highlighting those whose presence impacts visitors with its originality.
On July 16, 17 and 18, one of the most iconic events of the Expo will take place, the International Business Expo Roundtable, the largest multi-sector, multi-profile and multi-country event of its kind in Paraguay, with the participation of national and international companies and organizations seeking to buy, sell, invest and develop strategic alliances. In the previous edition, the Expo Roundtable closed with business intentions of more than USD 714 million, with 1,039 participants from 60 different sectors, 749 companies and 24 countries.
Also, on July 18th, the grand final show of the Expo Talentos will be presented, where the new generations of talents will have the opportunity to demonstrate all their art. The pre-selections for this competition will take place on July 8th, 9th and 10th.
Friday, July 19th will be the time for Miss Expo, which will once once more bring a night of brilliance and beauty.
On Saturday the 20th, a concert will be held by Dyner Bayona + Qmbia Base + Banda Santa Fe + La Compañía and finally, the official closing will be on Sunday, July 21st with the presence of Talento de Barrio and other national bands.
As always, the traditional amusement park will be available at all times to delight the little ones with the best attractions and children’s shows.
