Asuncion, IP Agency.- The first edition of “Expo Asador” was rescheduled for next Saturday, July 20, due to the inclement weather recorded the day before, which affected the track where the competition will take place.
This grand event, in which the country’s best barbecue chefs will compete for the title of barbecue master, aims to offer a festive atmosphere to families.
“Expo Asador” will be the first national and international competition of its kind at the Expo Mariano Roque Alonso, where the talent of the grillers, divided into amateur and professional categories, will be put to the test.
The grand competition will take place at the Expo Admission and Weigh-In Track and public entry will begin at 10:30 a.m.
On the one hand, there are the prizes for the professional category, in which 1st place will receive Gs. 7,500,000 in cash, 2nd place will receive a prize of Gs. 5,000,000 in cash and 3rd place, Gs. 3,000,000 in cash.
Also in the amateur category, 1st place will receive Gs. 3,750,000 in cash, 2nd place will receive a prize of Gs. 2,500,000 in cash and 3rd place, Gs. 2,000,000 in cash.
This is an event open to the public, where everyone can spend the day at Expo 2024. You can taste all the meat roasted live by the competitors, including beef, pork, chicken and sausages.
All this for the sum of Gs. 60,000 for adults and, for children, Gs. 30,000. There will also be a canteen with a variety of drinks for all tastes.
