The number of visits to Expo 2020 Dubai rose to 20 million as of Saturday, March 19, achieving a historic achievement by which it became a milestone in the history of international exhibitions, despite all the challenges and difficulties facing its organization in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. This historic achievement is scheduled to be celebrated with a special display on the Al Wasl Dome, and an array of spectacular fireworks, later on Saturday, starting at 20:30 UAE time.
Visitors from within the UAE had the largest share of visits, amounting to regarding 70 percent, and the latest statistics show that children under the age of 18 visited Expo 2020 Dubai more than 2.8 million times, with the international event providing inspiration for the next generation of innovators and change makers.
