Expo 2020 Camel Festival kicks off today

The Expo 2020 Camel Racing Festival kicks off this evening at Al Wathba and Al Marmoom fields. The festival is a celebration of the global event and the great impact of sporting events in enhancing communication among all, in addition to shedding light on the rich Emirati traditions.

The races will be held over a period of five days, starting with Al-Haqqayyah, Al-Laqaya, Al-Radi, Al-Thaniah, and finally with Al-Houl and Al-Zumoul. The organizing committee has allocated 140 runs and 20 symbols, distributed between Al Wathba and Al Marmoom. Participants in Al Wathba Square will run 70 runs, 46 of which are in the Southern Square and 24 in the Western Square.
