Bombshell in Colombian football that is already going around the world. This Wednesday, midfielder Robert Mejía scored a great goal in the match in which Atlético Nacional beat Águilas Doradas 0-3 as a visitor, in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the 2023 BetPlay Cup.
The match was played at the Alberto Grisales stadium, in Rionegro, Antioquia. At minute 63, Nacional recovered a ball in its own field, and Robert Mejía (22 years old) took a shot from before midfield (58 meters) to beat the goal defended by Venezuelan José Contreras and make it 0-2 partial .
