Explosions rocked in Transnistria on the territory of the former airport near the border with Ukraine

In the Rybnitsa region of Transnistria, near the village of Voronkovo ​​bordering Ukraine, four explosions thundered on Friday evening. This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the unrecognized republic.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, explosive devices were dropped from drones.

Earlier, the local TV channel TSV informed regarding the incident.

The former airfield was shelled. It was built as a military one, but was abandoned following the collapse of the USSR. It was reported that the military was stationed in the area of ​​the airfield.

There were no reports of casualties.

Earlier, three terrorist attacks took place in Pridnestrovie – in the building of the Ministry of State Security in Tiraspol, near the military unit near the village of Parkany, and also on the tower of the radio and television center near the village of Mayak.

A “red” level of terrorist threat has been introduced in the PMR.
