After Israeli warplanes targeted, on Friday, at least 8 missiles, weapons depots and sites for Iranian militias in the Masyaf area in Hama countryside, another Israeli bombardment of a shipment of weapons belonging to Tehran’s followers in the Syrian port of Tartus.
The Syrian regime’s media announced that explosions were heard in coastal areas such as Jableh, Tartous and Baniyas.

She also noted that these voices came from the regime forces’ response in the vicinity of the city of Masyaf, according to her version, amid information confirming that the Israeli bombing had hit an Iranian weapons shipment in the coastal port of Tartus, according to what Al-Arabiya / Al-Hadath sources reported.
This came following another Israeli bombardment today targeted sites on Wadi Al-Ayoun road, west of Masyaf, and another in Al-Suwaida area, southeast of Masyaf, which led to fires burning within the targeted sites, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Ambulances were seen rushing to the places that were targeted, and there were confirmed reports of casualties.
The regime announced that 5 people were killed and 7 injured as a result of the Israeli bombardment on the Hama countryside.
12 targets in 5 months
It is noteworthy that Israel has targeted Syria more than 12 times since the beginning of this year.
Two days ago, on May 11, following midnight Tuesday-Wednesday, Israeli missiles fell on sites in the vicinity of the town of Hader in the northern countryside of Quneitra, near the border with the occupied Golan, where militias affiliated with Iran and Hezbollah are located.
The Israeli strikes also targeted at least 5 sites in the western Hama countryside on the ninth of last April, hitting the vicinity of the College of Administrative Affairs, the Scientific Research Center “Defense Laboratories” and a military point in the village of Suwayda, in addition to a military point on the outskirts of Masyaf.
