There was an explosion at the Herblinger Markt shopping center in Schaffhausen on Saturday followingnoon. As the eastern Swiss TV production company BRK-News reports, part of the photovoltaic system has exploded.
As the Schaffhausen police wrote on Sunday, the employees of the center heard a loud bang shortly following 4 p.m. The exact cause of the explosion is now being investigated. “An incorrect manipulation or an act of sabotage can definitely be ruled out.”
The explosion was probably due to a technical problem. The fire brigade of the city of Schaffhausen and the Schaffhausen police were on site.
