Residents of Solikamsk (Perm Territory) on the followingnoon of October 31 reported an explosion. According to them, the emergency occurred at the Ural plant, reports 59.RU.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, information regarding the incident at Solikamsk Plant Ural JSC was received at 13:25. 44 people and 11 pieces of equipment went to the scene, of which 36 people and 10 pieces of equipment were from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Arriving at the scene, firefighters found out that there was a bang in building No. 2. There was no one in the building; according to operational information, no people were injured. The incident did not affect the operation of the plant.
The Ministry of Territorial Security of the Kama Region clarifies that the incident occurred in workshop No. 3 (operating in automated mode). According to operational information, windows and doors were broken.
The Ural plant, as it writes 59.RU, military-industrial. They produce explosives, rubber and plastic products, paints and varnishes, in particular, gunpowder is pressed in workshop No. 3.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Territorial Security call the incident a “slam.” This term is used when there is no major destruction, the publication notes.
Local residents on social networks say that in different parts of the city “houses shook,” furniture shook, and glass in some buildings was even broken.
