The new issue of EDGE magazine has a big article about the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws, the new Star Wars game from Ubisoft. The material tells, for example, about how big the game world will be. So, according to the creative director of the project, Julian Gareti, each of the planets will be comparable in size to two or three zones from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – however, he did not specify which ones. The game had both very large areas, like Attica, and relatively small island territories. In total, there will be about five planets in the game – so far Ubisoft has not officially confirmed this information. Each planet is created by hand, and the authors hope that players will be interested in exploring them. Ubisoft’s goal is to create a “spirit of adventure” – even if the main character moves around the map on a bike. Moving around the planets, players will get acquainted with new factions and heroes. And some of them, once they are angry, will be aggressive towards Kay – it can even come to the point that you cannot get into a certain zone or receive this or that task. If you ruin your reputation with a faction, they may send mercenaries to collect your debt. Star Wars Outlaws is slated for release in 2024. The game will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
