Interpret Samsung’s design philosophy through art and create an immersive experience for guests
Samsung Electronics organized the brand design exhibition “Newfound Equilibrium” during Milan Design Week Outreach 2024 (Fuorisalone 2024) (Note 1) from April 16 to 21. Across five unique spaces, the design philosophy of “necessity∙innovation∙harmony” is embodied
Samsung’s “Newfound Equilibrium” exhibition, held at Milan Design Week 2024, reveals an inspiring vision for achieving the ideal balance between humans and technology. Designed to impress attendees, the exhibit features media arts that engage the senses, including sight, hearing and smell.
The immersive installation art takes multi-sensory experience as its main focus, intelligently integrating sound, light and digital interaction to guide guests through five main spaces and experience Samsung’s latest design language “Necessity∙ Innovation∙Harmony”. Samsung has carefully created five major performance spaces through displays, sensors and lighting effects, named following “Necessity”, “Innovation”, “Harmony”, “Boundless Dreams” and “New Dawn” respectively. When guests approach the screen in space, the translucent elements transform into specific shapes and textures, and the shapes outside the window seem to get closer and closer, as if the vast future is approaching , plunging the participants into a beautiful dream.
