Al-Marsad Newspaper: A retired soldier documented a video clip in which he reviewed an old palace of King Khalid – may God have mercy on him – in Taif.

And he said during the video: “May God have mercy on you, O King Khalid bin Abdulaziz. I was a soldier holding a guard at the door, and next to the door was a guard officer’s office and a sergeant’s office.

He referred to the location of the military’s residence, the “First Company of the Royal Guard in Taif,” and the office of the commander, Major General Dhafer Al-Omari.

He also reviewed the place of residence of the individuals, the entrance of the personnel, the entrance to the camp, two streets leading to the gate, and a fountain that used to operate 24 hours, especially if King Khalid went to the palace, and went on to say: “The gate of King Khalid’s palace, see it, what a simple world and people are humble, the whole palace is now a forest, trees no one”

He also reviewed the food warehouses, the water tank, the power station, and the King Khalid Mosque, pointing out that the King, may God have mercy on him, used to go to the mosque and pray with the military, especially on Fridays.
