Exploring Celebrities at Hackerhaus Bad Erlach: A Vibrant Hub for Culture and Conversations

2023-09-18 06:00:00

The list of celebrities in Hackerhaus Bad Erlach has been expanded to include a new name. After climate expert Helga Krom-Kolp and ORF correspondent Karim El-Gawhary answered questions from the audience this year, former state governor Erwin Pröll will take the stage on October 5th for a short exchange of ideas.

In addition to the exhibitions and band performances, the discussion evenings in the Erlach Museum are becoming increasingly popular. However, this was the intention from the start, as museum director Brigitte Tauchner reveals: “We always wanted this house not only to reflect contemporary history, but also to be a place for communication and conversation.”

On October 5th, Erwin Pröll will address audience questions together with ex-Profil editor-in-chief Herbert Lackner, with whom he has already published a book. The focus is on the challenges of politics in Austria, art and culture as well as personal matters. The next popular guests are already being discussed, and another exhibition will start on November 18th: “Under the motto ‘A word for’, Peresa Hunyadi, a renowned artist, will present her wooden sculptures. The aim is to make the exhibitions accessible to everyone, including the visually impaired, by allowing you to touch the works,” says Tauchner.

We are already working on other well-known people who will appear in the Erlach town center in the future. What is certain is that there is no secret recipe for the prominent arrangements: “Just ask if people want to come. “It either works or it doesn’t,” says Tauchner with a smile. Admission to the discussion evening with Erwin Pröll is free, starting at 7 p.m. You are still asked to register at office@hacker-haus.at.
