Company Pearl Abyss presented an exclusive trailer for the upcoming update called “Land of the Morning”. It was shown at the Summer Game Fest show.
The Land of the Morning will be available in the game on June 14 – this will be the first major update in 2023. In the unexplored territories of the Land of Morning, players will have to choose which side to take and how to interact with the inhabitants of the country. The region will experience a cycle of day and night. It will not do without the opposition of the forces of light and darkness.
The upcoming update will go beyond the medieval fantasy setting of Black Desert. Players will be able to get acquainted with the rich history of Korea and learn more regarding its cultural characteristics.
