On the main highways and 10 motorways between April 11-17, 2023, a total of 7,026,157 cars, 5.3% more than the Songkran Festival in 2022, divided into 3,458,690 outbound and 3,567,467 inbound vehicles, expected on April 12, 2023. There will be a maximum outbound traffic of approximately 648,530 vehicles and on April 16, 2023, there will be a maximum inbound traffic in Bangkok of approximately 612,769 vehicles, in order to facilitate travelers and avoid traffic jams during the said festival.
