The month of Ramadan can be the right moment for nature tourism. Way Kambas National Park is one of the destination choices for people who want to vacation during Ramadan.
Located regarding 2 hours from the capital of Lampung Province, Way Kambas National Park, located in East Lampung Regency, remains open in the holy month of Ramadan.
“We remain open from morning to evening during Ramadan,” said Way Kambas National Park Public Relations Officer, Sukatmoko, Sunday (17/3).
Sukatmoko said that Way Kambas National Park might also be an alternative for families or tourists who want to see Sumatran elephants and other animals directly.
According to him. During the month of Ramadan, Way Kambas National Park is open to the public who want to go on nature exploration tours.
“We limit this by imposing vehicle restrictions. There cannot be more than 20 people in one vehicle, so that there is no accumulation in the park area. This will apply in the future,” he explained.

Sukatmoko said the price to enter Way Kambas National Park is IDR 40 thousand, including parking fees, means of transportation to the parking lot into the national park, and a tour guide.
“Visitors can see elephant activity and walk around the area,” he said.
Apart from that, he asked visitors who want to travel to Way Kambas not to throw rubbish carelessly.
