Vienna/Brussels – Austria is lagging behind in the fight once morest child poverty. In 2021, the EU adopted a “European Guarantee for Children” as a recommendation to cover the basic needs of those affected free of charge. A national action plan should be available from all EU countries by mid-March 2022. But the Austrian paper is still not in Brussels. Experts have now criticized this in an interview with the APA.
