What is eczema? What causes it?
Eczema of the feet, like eczema of the legs, are frequent localizations of eczema. This cutaneous pathology, of inflammatory origin, is not contagious, but is manifested by acute episodes (phases called “flare-ups”). During flare-ups, the symptoms of the disease worsen. Between these episodes, the symptoms subside (a phase called “remission”).
Eczema is the most common skin disease. It can begin in early childhood and is seen quite frequently in infants from the age of 3 months. It often persists throughout childhood and adolescence. If some adults see their eczema regress permanently, other adults keep it all…
