Jorge Kamkoff Miller, founding member of Oil, Gas & Energy Development, warned that the fuel problem in Venezuela will continue until gasoline prices improve. However, he assured that for this the country’s economy must improve.

He explained that people must be able to afford these new gasoline prices and for that the national economic situation must improve.

Kamkoff recalled that in Venezuela, the price of gasoline is well below the market price and there is not enough production to supply the domestic market.

He stressed that the fuel situation in the United States (USA) is not only due to lack of demand, but also to energy policies that have reduced the country’s own production.

“The great oil exporter to the US was Canada. An oil pipeline was being built that Biden suspended and this was supposed to be very important to feed the refineries that are in the Gulf, ”he added.

He also stressed that no more permits for oil exploration and production have been given in the US.

The founder of Oil, Gas & Energy Development indicated that the cut of two million barrels of oil announced by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec), is not done only in the member countries.
