Walibi opens its new attraction on August 11. Last March, the amusement park announced the arrival of a novelty: the Silverton. From August 11 (followingnoon), the attraction will open its doors. Accessible for all ages, the attraction will have a total of 12 two-seater locomotives whose inclination (up to 90°) can be chosen by visitors, at the controls of their own locomotive.
The theming of Silverton, located a stone’s throw from the Dalton Terror, will immerse visitors in the heart of the Far West. Its name – chosen by the park’s community of fans following a competition – refers to the train serving the 19th century mining town of Silverton, lost at an altitude of 3,000 m in the Rockies ( Colorado).
