19h40.- La sensation Wet Leg à la Green Room
Fans of FC Sochaux-Montbéliard will inevitably recognize the voices of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers. The tubes of the English of Wet Leg accompany the majority of the matches of the Sochaliens in Bonal. “Hello Belford. It’s cool to be here”, they whisper before releasing their pop-rock songs in front of a compact audience, at the Green Room.
“For the next song, I need help”, launches the leader of Wet Leg with her British accent. The group performs one of its flagship titles: Angelica.
The concert ends in apotheosis with their hit Chaise longue the public takes up the words in chorus.

7:35 p.m. – The site is becoming denser
The “Thursday workers” are arriving on the site, and traffic is becoming more complicated in the aisles of the festival, especially on the side of the Greenroom marquee where the “sensation” group of the moment, Wet Leg, begins its concert.

18h50.- A proper festival
No question of finding the Malsaucy site (too much) in bulk. The waste sorting awareness teams are already criss-crossing the aisles of the festival. Smokers receive mini-ashtrays to put their cigarette butts in.
At the campsite too, we distribute garbage bags.

I was told that you were the hottest audience in France, I mightn’t wait to meet you, Belfort!
Short
6:30 p.m. – Niska monte le son
First concert on the Main Stage: it’s the rapper Niska who sticks to it.
Short
A few minutes earlier, we were able to witness a small pruning in front of the stage: two branches were cut, one sick (therefore dangerous above the PMR access) and the other which interfered with the light effects of this evening .
6:20 p.m.- Pedaling
At the Tour de France stand, you pedal to move your remote-controlled car forward! To be won if you beat your neighbor in the race: exclusive Tour de France samples, ideal for preparing for the arrival of the Grande Boucle in Belfort on July 22!

???? 6 p.m. – By the way, what’s going on at the campsite?
The first day of the Eurocks, at Malsaucy, marks the beginning of the concerts but also and of course the arrival of the campers. After the last edition, where a storm had spoiled the party from the first followingnoon, the festival-goers are determined to take their revenge. Back in pictures.

5:50 p.m.- The Drink Team is in place
Manu and Jean-Mix, disguised as draft beers: “After last year’s hail, we thought we were going to refresh people this year! » If you spot the “Drink Team” during the festival, do not hesitate to approach them; a most entertaining (and thirst-quenching!) game awaits you.
17 h 40.- Phoenix: and regarding 5!
Deck d’Arcy and Christian Mazzalai, from the group Phoenix (8:30 p.m., Main Stage): “This is our fifth time at the Eurocks (following 2007, 2009, 2013 and 2017). We know that here it’s always an emulation of music, we played with great artists like The Hives. The atmosphere ? We prefer not to make too many predictions, because we are often very surprised by the public. In any case, if we have time, we plan to see Wet Leg (7:30 p.m., Greenroom), and we encourage spectators to take a look at Sigur Ros (9:45 p.m.)! »
17 h 30.- Place in Adé, while waiting (already!) Niska
A touch of pop: under the marquee of the Greenroom, the singer Crown starts his concert on the hats of wheel.
Meanwhile, things are coming to life on the side of the Grande Scène. One hour before the concert Short, the first of the whole festival on the main stage, the first fans of the rapper are already to be expected in the front rows. “This is where we will have the best atmosphere, without risking dying on the pogos”, explains a young fan of the artist.

4:40 p.m.- And the first festival-goer is…
Among the tens of thousands of people expected this weekend at the Eurockéennes de Belfort, one must be the first to pass through the doors of the festival. This year it isAnthony, a 16-year-old high school student from Belfort. On the site for “only fifteen hours”, the young man did not expect at all to be the first festival-goer for his first participation in the event.
As tradition dictates, he received a bag full of goodies as well as a sum of money on his cashless from the patron of the festival Jean-Paul Roland.
???? 4:30 p.m. – If not, what will the weather be like?
Here are the latest advice and weather reports from Météo Franc-Comtoise. Ilyes Ghouil, the weatherman from Franche-Comté is at the Eurockéennes during these four days. The little prodigy of sky predictions delivers weather reports every day. Follow his latest advice on video ????
???? 4:15 p.m.- We take a little height to wait
Since May 30, the technical teams have worked tirelessly to set up a real little town which will welcome more than 120,000 festival-goers in four days and will offer 58 concerts on the four stages. Through the slideshow “the festival site seen from the sky”, you will be able to find the different stages of this month-long project, from the very first operations until Tuesday evening.
And, to kill time before the first concert, we invite you to test your knowledge of the Eurockéennes. Here’s to our 15-question quiz!
