The Youth Service of the Provincial Council of Palencia opens the registration period for the workshop Sport climbing in the Palencia Mountain in the natural environment in Ligüerzana in Cervera de Pisuerga in which a group of three people will climb different climbing routes performing different roles that they will rotate A new proposal that is part of the program for the revitalization of children and youth in rural areas that the Institution has prepared for this summer.
The activity ‘Climbing in the Mountain of Palencia’ will be held on August 8 and is aimed at young people from 14 to 36 years old. Departing at 9:00 a.m. from the meeting point, located 600 meters from the parking area, the activity will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The necessary material for the activity will be comfortable sportswear, tight sports shoes, water and some snack food during the activity, sun cream and cap, documentation, medication if you have it, a small backpack to transport everything and a signed authorization in case of minors.
A total of 15 places are offered, which will enter in strict order of registration. Although the activity is aimed at young people between 14 and 36 years old, if there are plenty of places, older people can participate. In the event that the places are filled, preference will be given to young people registered in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province. The registration form is as follows:
