The organizing members of the Olt Valley Music Festival are currently busy preparing for this classical music event which will take place this year from July 18 to 29.
After a successful 2022 edition which has regained its loyal audience, the members of the organizing Organs and Music Association are once once more mobilizing to find public and private funding in order to allow the continuation of this festival which shines throughout the territory. communities of communes from Causses to Aubrac, as well as from Comtal-Lot and Truyère.
True to form, Céline Nessi, artistic director of the festival, brought together some fifteen talented musicians from the most prestigious French ensembles: Orchester de l’Opéra de Paris, Orchester National de France, Orchester Philharmonique de Radio France. For this 29th edition, it has concocted an attractive and original program around the theme of the famous composer Schubert. They will be joined by regarding 80 trainees from the Academy of Music who will not fail, like every summer, to animate the streets and markets of the town.
She has concocted a balanced program, combining modern and old, in order to seduce a wide audience and delight music lovers of all ages.
Here are the dates of the shows: Monday July 18 at 8:30 p.m. St Geniez d’Olt parish church; Thursday July 20 at 8:30 p.m. in Saint-Côme-d’Olt; Friday 21 July in Saint-Geniez d’Olt at the auditorium; Saturday July 22 in Prades-d’Aubrac; Monday July 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Saint-Geniez-d’Olt; Tuesday July 25 at 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Saint-Geniez-d’Olt; Thursday July 27, at 8.30 p.m. in Ste Eulalie d’Olt; Friday July 28 at 8:30 p.m. at the cloister of Saint-Geniez d’Olt.
