NVIDIA has published a video demonstrating the total “humiliation” of the original Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart PC version. Thanks to DLSS 3 and other proprietary technologies, it will be possible to squeeze over 200 fps from the platformer in 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled. Of course, in practice, such a frame rate is rarely achieved, and usually the game gives out in the region of 150-160. But it’s still a lot better than the PS5 version with its 4K/30 fps. At the same time, do not forget that commercials do not always reflect the real state of affairs. Plus, the use of upscalers often leads to various graphics bugs. So owners of top-end PCs will be able to confirm or deny the demonstrated video on July 26th. The preload of the platformer on Steam has already started.
