Between the ropes – A life for the circus
The spotlights are focused on the ring. Circus music booms through the tent. The artists radiate self-confidence and playfully show off their skills in glittering costumes. But how hard do you have to train for this? Why do aerial acrobats often only float live at dizzying heights? Simona Pindeus and cameraman Alex Limberger look behind the curtain at the glittering circus world on ORF Upper Austria’s ERLEBNIS AUSTRIA. They portray special personalities and show how the corona pandemic has changed the circus.
