You can see that the menu screen of “Apple Vision Pro” is beautifully reproduced. It’s not a complete copy, but an interesting point regarding it is that it has a “Fortnite” feel while taking various things into consideration, such as changing “Apple TV” to “F (ortnite) TV.”

Currently, only “F TV” and the Music app (icon) can be used with “Fortnite Vision Pro”. This system displays a virtual display and toolbar when you select each icon. Displays can be placed wherever you like. The in-game map itself has a live-action look, so it feels more like a “spatial computer.”

I tried using Meta Quest Pro’s hand tracking operation.

“Fortnite Vision Pro” is intended to be played on a PC (flat display), so eye tracking and hand tracking operations like the original “Apple Vision Pro” cannot normally be performed.

It would be a shame to not be able to experience XR even though it has reached this level of perfection…

So, using Meta Quest Pro and the PC connection application “Virtual Desktop”, I tried operating “Fortnite Vision Pro” using hand tracking operation (a mode that allows you to operate with both hands without a controller).

Although the operation feeling is a bit strange, I was able to touch the icons with my finger and operate them, just like the actual “Apple Vision Pro”! In the image above, you can see that the virtual display in the game is in the same position as my hand (moves with it).

It may seem like a “one-shot” map, but it was a unique map that allowed you to experience the basic gameplay feel of “Apple Vision Pro.” We recommend playing through a VR headset for a more immersive experience. Personally, I would be happy if Apple continues to update and reproduce other features of Apple Vision Pro.

How do I get to the world?

To play Creative World in Fortnite, first click on the magnifying glass icon at the top left of the lobby screen. From there, enter the code number of the world you want to play in “Island Code”.

If you haven’t decided on a particular destination, you can also search for popular maps from “Recommended” or “All Categories” (please note that competitive maps may also be mixed in).

Also, at the bottom of the lobby screen, maps that are trending at the time of viewing and maps with high ratings are displayed. You can also search for worlds by focusing on maps officially produced by Epic Games.

After choosing a map, you can access the world by clicking “Play!” The game state can be selected between “Public” and “Private”. The former allows general players to enter, so the “private” setting is recommended for sightseeing.
