Manama: An expatriate youth caught with drugs in Bahrain begged for forgiveness in court. In the apology, it is said that he is the sole support of the family and that other measures should be avoided and he should be deported. A 32-year-old man was arrested for possession of more than 100 grams of hashish for sale. Another 40-year-old expatriate is also facing trial in the same case.
The case is being tried at the Bahrain High Criminal Court. When the case was heard on March 28, both the accused admitted to possessing and using drugs. But they denied the allegation of selling. After this, one of the accused apologized to the court.
