The Family Medicine clinics of the Unne Faculty of Medicine expand their services by incorporating new specialties. They are open to the community and you can attend with or without social work.
Trained personnel converge here to guarantee care for children, adolescents, adults, pregnant women and the elderly.
Professionals with clinical medical specialties have now been included, and specialists in gynecology will be added in April.
An office will also start operating where echocardiography and peripheral Doppler ultrasound studies will be carried out.
Viviana Navarro is in charge of the area and explained that “this space has been operating for many years with external clinics that are attended mainly by family doctors.”
Family Medicine is a specialty in the outpatient clinical setting that deals with the comprehensive care of the patient and their family, at all stages of life and with a community approach.
“The idea is to be able to offer the community the best that the Faculty of Medicine has,” he said.
To use the Unne Family Medicine services, you must make a prior appointment through the telephone number 379-4422290 (ext. 258), or approach Mendoza 1471 from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
