Why are the costs of the Eastern REM so high compared to similar projects elsewhere in the world?
Friday, on the show Without reservation, this is the question being addressed by Normand Mousseau, professor of physics at the University of Montreal who denounced in an article in La Presse the staggering amounts granted to the infrastructure project. The committee mandated by the Government of Quebec to study a new version of the REM de l’Est has actually proposed a project worth 36 billion dollars.
