Exoprimal’s first major update is here, and it brings 10 new Exosuit variants to the game. These will act as subclasses of the main coat, visually, with a different primary weapon. The full list will be below, but for example the Deadeye variant is Burst Fire and comes with a shotgun that has a short range spread compared to the longer range of its assault rifle. However, when aimed, you get a five-shot burst that is effective at almost any range. Over 30 mods have also been introduced to the game, along with some other changes such as new awards, medals and more, which you can read in the patch notes here. Deadeye Alpha: Burst Fire – This model features a short-range diffused shotgun that focuses into bursts of five while aiming down the sights, providing an attacking option at any distance. Zephyr Alpha: Energy Chakra – Unlike its melee-focused counterpart, this Zephyr is designed to keep enemies at a distance, as its projectiles become more powerful in mid-range combat. Barrage Alpha: Rocket Jump – This mod contains a rocket launcher that can be charged to deal more damage and cause an explosion, or it can be used to leap high. Vigilant Alpha: Marksman – The highly mobile marksman wields a semi-automatic rifle that spits out a barrage of single shots. One shot in every few shots also packs an extra punch! Barricade Alpha: Bastion Shield – This Barricade variant features an arm-mounted shotgun and a detachable shield, allowing it to fight in one area while defending another. Krieger Alpha: Charge Shotgun – This model swaps its machine gun for a chargeable shotgun that can fire wide-area scattered shots or powerful compression blasts that send enemies flying. Alpha Murakami: Frost Sword – The Frost Sword strikes back, sending out waves of ice and freezing enemies in their tracks, leaving them vulnerable to follow-up attacks. Witch Doctor Alpha: Dual Beam – This set fires a beam of energy that heals allies and damages enemies. The longer the beam is connected to its target, the stronger its effect. Skywave Alpha: Thunderclap – This model summons lightning from above to paralyze its enemies. These bolts can also be charged to bring down powerful targeted strikes. Nimbus Alpha: Dual Barreled – Wielding two types of shotguns, this variant both heals and deals damage with a sizable spread shot, becoming more powerful at close range.
