Books – Youssef Afifi:
Two responsible sources revealed the fate of the Saudi woman accused of killing the Egyptian pharmacist “Ahmed Hatem” while performing his work in the city of Sakaka, Saudi Arabia, unjustly.
The woman who shot the bullets was arrested, the cameras were emptied, and investigations were launched in an attempt to reach the causes of the accident.
The two sources told Masrawy that there are two scenarios awaiting the Saudi accused. The first scenario is the application of Islamic law, as in such cases, retribution from the killer is suspended until the dead man’s son reaches the age of majority as the guardian of blood, to take his opinion on retribution or pardon the killer, and take blood money.
The two sources add that taking blood money is a decision that rests with the family of the victim, whether by acceptance, pardon or refusal, and the request for retribution.
The son of the murdered Egyptian pharmacist is only two years old, and given the years of waiting according to Sharia in such a case, the decision of retribution or pardon is suspended for 16 years until the child reaches the age of majority and expresses his opinion, provided that the murderer is imprisoned during this period.
According to the two sources, the second scenario is to resort to the law, and implement the death sentence upon completion of the investigations and confirmation of premeditated premeditated murder, and the matter is referred to the competent Saudi judicial authorities to decide the case and issue the death sentence for the murderer, without referring to the blood guardian.
He married the murdered Egyptian pharmacist 3 years ago and gave birth to a child named Muhammad, only two years old. He is known for his good morals and commitment to his work, according to the accounts of his relatives and neighbors.
The cause of death was the firing of two bullets by a Saudi woman following she asked him to dispense an antibiotic without medical instructions, but he refused, so she was shot, during his official working time while he was in the pharmacy where he works, “Family Pharmacy” located in the Nasiriyah neighborhood in the city of Sakaka in the northern border region.
The Egyptian pharmacist, Ahmed Hatem, is from the village of Kafr Danshaway, affiliated to the Martyrs Center in Menoufia Governorate, and is 34 years old. He traveled two years ago to work in Saudi Arabia, and was working as a manager at the family pharmacy in Nasiriyah in the Saudi city of Sakaka.
An official Egyptian source told Masrawy that the autopsy process has now been completed by the forensic medicine and a report on the autopsy process has been issued, and the report on the completion of the autopsy process has been transferred to the Public Prosecution to decide the process of handing over the body to his family, then shipping the body to Egypt to be buried in his hometown of Menoufia.
