A total name of 7,000 tickets for 8,664 inhabitants. With almost one ticket to offer per citizen, L’Île-Saint-Denis, an island commune which houses part of the athletes’ village, is one of the communities best equipped for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. To distribute them , the municipality has opened its own ticket office reserved for residents.
Six vows of disciplines
In details, 4,909 tickets have been reserved for the Olympic Games et 2,091 for the Paralympics. Residents who wish can choose to attend the Olympic Games, from July 26 to August 11, or the Paralympics, from August 28 to September 8, with each a ticket office dedicated.
To benefit from it, applicants must be born before January 1, 2014 and residents of L’Île-Saint-Denis. Of the family pass with children will be available, as will pass adulte, for one or two people. A copy of the family record book will be requested, as will an identity document and proof of address. “We will also distribute to each CM1 and CM2 primary school student a place to attend the Paralympic Games at the start of the 2024 school year,” specifies the municipality.
The residents will then have to formulate six vows of disciplines, from an available list. This ranges from athletics at the Stade de France, to gymnastics at Bercy to wheelchair rugby at the Champ-de-Mars. “We will endeavor to distribute sports places […] informed, depending on the number of places available and according to [la] registration date. We cannot under any circumstances guarantee in advance which test will be assigned,” specifies the municipality. Tickets will be allocated on June 1st.
