A new leak has revealed the codename for the next part of the Call of Duty shooter, coming out this fall. According to the PlayStation Game Size Twitter account, the game’s current working title is HailStröm. Under it, an alpha version of Modern Warfare III appeared on the Sony servers, intended for internal testing. The size is about 20 GB. The game’s logo and icon were also revealed. As Insider Gaming previously reported, the official announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will take place in early August. According to insiders, the game is a direct sequel to Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, released in 2022, but is being created by Sledgehammer Games and was originally supposed to be a massive story expansion for Modern Warfare II.
