During the 2023 edition of Campus Party Brasília, the Game Life column had the opportunity to interview Diana Zambrozuski exclusively. The streamer shared regarding her career and exclusive news regarding her live streams. Read in full!
Karol: When did you make the decision to start producing gamer content?
Diana Zambrozuski: In fact, I’ve been playing since I was a little girl, so this passion came from there. And suddenly the era of streams and lives began, I started creating content, actually, for total fun, because I liked being part of gamer groups on Facebook. They had strong groups where people shared game tips and games in general like that. And being part of these groups, I started to create a certain highlight there, I started doing cosplays and then I started doing lives too. So when I started doing live, there were already a lot of people like that, watching, and there was no way to take into account, at the time, that this might be a career one day. So it was totally for fun, I didn’t think of it as a traditional career. So I kept studying, I had a plan B. I was still a long way from doing lives…
But when I was 16, following regarding 3 years already creating content, a live platform appeared and I had a contract for the first time. And it gave you a sense of a future in that. And then the key turned! I thought: maybe it will be possible to work with this. So I started adding a little more fuel to that fire, and in 2018 when Facebook Gaming came along, I ended up focusing 100% on my career as a content creator, streamer and everything in between. And this was my hobby for many years, which gave me some money, had some prospects for the future, but in 2018 with the contract and publicity, I saw that it was really a career possibility.
Karol: I know your game of life is LOL, but would there be another one that shares this space?
Diana Zambrozuski: Lately the game that made the most difference in life was also COD Warzone, I really liked it. But whenever I’m asked, the game of my life is really LOL, because thanks to it I started creating content and I’m here today. I went back to playing LOL, because Warzone changed, and in Warzone 2 I felt a little orphaned. I really liked the gameplay of 1, so I went back to LOL and I’m there suffering in silver… Ih! Not silver! I’m in the bronze! but now at least it has iron (laughs). But then, COD Warzone stuck with me a lot and so did horror games. I found that the public really enjoyed watching me go through the motions in front of the screen, so I started playing a lot of horror games, like story games, adventures and big releases! I always bring something new for the guys.
Karol: Which game do you like to stream the most?
Diana Zambrozuski: I think GTA RP. Because it’s already a franchise that everyone likes, and suddenly this GTA RP fever came up, where there’s a closed server where you have interactions with real people and you live a character there. He is famous to the point that several celebrities play, even Anitta has played! I had the experience of playing with her, it was super cool! GTA RP is a game that is booming on live platforms, and the experience of doing it live is incredible. It’s a story that ties into the other and you experience it with so much emotion that I’ve cried several times on my live for something that happened in the game. We feel really impacted by what is happening there. So he also impressed me a lot, and in addition to being fun to play, he is very successful live. This is very important, right? I can’t just play something that amuses me, but the audience doesn’t know much regarding or doesn’t like. Then GTA RP is perfect, because the chance of you being leveraged is even greater by the fact that you are also playing with other influencer streamers.
Karol: What are the challenges of this gamer environment that you faced, overcame and are proud of?
Diana Zambrozuski: It’s a day-to-day journey, right? In the past, I think it was a little more hostile to still be part of this gamer scene as a woman. Because in these groups when we were going to announce that we were live, something like that, the number of comments ridiculing us for being there was very large and nobody did anything regarding it. Even the group’s management didn’t care, because everyone was talking nonsense, and they had no control. But for some time now, a lot has changed, people are taking better care of themselves.
Everyone knows that the Internet is a lawless land, although I think we are still in the stone age, there is a lot to improve. We’ve always had to read comments that we don’t like and the experience of being live ends up having an impact at that point. Because you read that comment and you end up reacting live. You can even try to disguise it, but often you can’t run. There have been cases of people sending donations on my live and taking advantage of the donation message, which appears on the screen, to talk nonsense. So we have to be very flexible to deal with this, right? To not let it get to us, but to know that it has more to do with the person who spoke than with us.
For example, it’s very normal for us to receive donations when you’re a streamer and that’s already part of the culture, everyone knows. But when you’re a woman and you receive a donation, people are going to be very hard on you. They say: “why are you donating to her?” or “you’re interested in her”, there’s always something. One can never be having a certain amount of success, or having visualization, or just being funny, or playing well… anything any man might be doing! It has that weight, but a lot of flexibility and patience, because in any area it will also be like that. But it’s also really cool, we take advantage of this area to have a lot of fun, it has a lot of good comments. Then we can also relax and read the positive things when the other comments are hurting. It’s part of it, it’s going to hurt at one time or another, but we have to keep going because it’s a fight we have. We have to hope, it’s getting better.

Karol: You spend a lot of time on lives, right? How to reconcile personal and professional life?
Diana Zambrozuski: Our! Lately my life has become a reality show, I do many hours of live per month, regarding 120 hours of live. I’ve been at this pace for many years and I always have the rope around my neck because it’s never just live. I also create content for Instagram, for TikTok, for social networks, I do events… So I’m always in a rush! There have been many times when I’ve woken up, taken a shower and already opened the live, and went to bedtime once more. So in the meantime a lot of things happen that impact my personal life and people end up knowing. It’s an interesting mix many times, because it’s nice for people to know our vulnerabilities, and see us as human. But we have to know how to dose a certain limit so that people don’t also stay on top of things that are our privacy.
It’s fun to deal with all this live, but the experience makes us stronger and ready for each battle. In fact, live life is pretty crazy, I’ve even done live in my sleep (laughs).
Karol: And your mental health how is it? (laughter)
Diana Zambrozuski: It’s very important to always be in therapy and have good friends to talk to from time to time. Because creating content is a very new thing, and people end up with psychological problems because of it. It’s a lot of pressure from all sides, the fear of tomorrow, the insecurity of the future, the flop that lives next door… So there are many factors to consider, but time heals everything and we keep working and it’s been really nice to take a step back each time. And there’s always a new journey to take.
Karol: Tell us a little regarding POD DAR TRETA and where do you find time to record?
Diana Zambrozuski: Our! The podcast was really cool. Me and my colleague, who also does lives, FanBabe, we got together to do one season a month. And that way it worked better, because we spent just one week doing everything and then we found time to dedicate ourselves to our lives and other commitments. I think the best thing regarding the podcast was being able to meet with so many people, network, talk to a lot of content creators… that was valuable. Now we take a break. We don’t know what the future will be like and if we’re going to continue. Because she had a baby, beautiful by the way. But it was an absurd experience! It was wonderful to have a podcast, and very challenging due to the routine of schedules. There were times when I arrived at the podcast doing live and I only ended the live when it was time to start the podcast.

But it was really cool. There are people and influencers I meet today who have a great bond of friendship because of spending hours chatting with me on that show and then we became friends because of that. So podcast is really cool for you to be able to really talk and get to know the person there in depth.
Karol: You draw very well. How did this passion start? He also tells a little regarding his experience finding and delivering his drawings to Margot Robbie and Keanu Reeves.
Diana Zambrozuski: I always liked to draw, since I was a child. It’s something that is interconnected, design and content creation, because today I’m here because I started doing cosplays when I was younger. And cosplay is that costume, all that armour, those swords in hand… it’s a lot of artisanal work. And I did it myself, because I’ve always been a big fan of drawings, of Art Attack, of getting my hands dirty… so it was really cool to be able to unite this passion for drawing to start posting on the internet and everything. But drawing has always been a really cool hobby that I enjoy having, so when I suddenly had the opportunity to interview Margot Robbie I was like “WOW!”. And I only found out regarding three days in advance, so I figured it would be awesome if I might draw a picture of her and see what the reaction would be. So I ran to do it and following the interview, I gave it to her. She loved it and the reaction was amazing!
And that gave me a nice hook for content, every time I have the opportunity to meet a celebrity, someone I admire a lot, I draw a drawing of that person and I’m going to create really cool content on top of that. In addition to being very accomplished too. I’ve already delivered drawings on the podcasts I’ve been to. I gave it to the guys from Flow, I drew Christian Figueiredo on his podcast, Eu Fico Loko, and recently, the last big celebrity I interviewed was Keanu Reeves at CCXP. I had the opportunity to do a “meet and greet” with him, and then I took advantage of it, I drew him. I only had one day to do that drawing, so it was a whole day drawing (and live on top of that). But the drawing worked, phew! It turned out cool, because like that, it takes many hours for me to look at a drawing and think “it worked!”. For many hours that drawing is just faith and calm, that when it comes to the details, it will work out. So his reaction was also incredible, he is a super humble person, very affectionate, very shy, quiet… He really liked the drawing and later the production even told me that he took it home with him. So it was super cool, I was very happy! It was another opportunity I found in life to be very fulfilled and still create content with the drawings.
Karol: Where can we find you?
Diana Zambrozuski: My social networks are all @dianazambrozuski, with the exception of Twitter which is @dianazuski. I know the last name is complicated, but if you write “Diana Z” you will find me (laughs). And a big scoop here is that I just ended my Facebook lives, now I’m probably moving to Twitch. I already have a channel there, people can follow. So soon I’ll be back on the platform doing lives on this new journey.
