Karine Le Marchand has been in the news since season 19 of L’amour est dans le pré is about to make its big comeback on M6. This year, 12 farmers – Guy, Damien and Cyril having abandoned the adventure – agreed to trust the host and the production to find the love of their life. To do this, they first gave themselves up in a portrait, broadcast in January 2024, in order to receive mail. Since then, they have been able to meet suitors, whom they received at the farm, and who will be discovered in the next episodes. While waiting to know the outcome of this new edition, Karine Le Marchand made a little revelation to TV Actu.

“The shrink who is on the show was the shrink of the farmers from Love is in the Meadow”

Indeed, the one who has presented L’amour est dans le pré since season 5, broadcast in 2010, exclusively told us that she is a fan of another dating show. “I love watching Married at First Sight!” she explained before adding: “Besides, the psychologist who is on the show (editor’s note: Estelle Dossin) was the psychologist of the farmers of L’amour est dans le pré at the beginning. So I know her!” Karine Le Marchand thinks that the experts do a very good job with the candidates of Married at First Sight. “I think that the two psychologists (editor’s note: Estelle Dossin and Gilbert Bou Jaoudé) have evolved positively because, now, they dissect a lot the way people behave and I think that can help us learn about ourselves,” she said.

Karine Le Marchand finds Married at First Sight “very informative”

Although L’amour est dans le pré and Married at First Sight do not have the same mechanics, Karine Le Marchand explains that the program, filmed partly in Gibraltar, is “very instructive.” She even concludes: “I really like it, I find it intelligent and it is also a good way to accompany viewers on their relationship with love.” Let’s hope that season 19 of L’amour est dans le pré is as full of twists and turns as season 8 of Married at First Sight, which was very followed and commented on by viewers.
