Kabul – A video of the Taliban patrolling the streets of Kabul, Afghanistan with an AK 47 gun and a rollerblade (skating device) has been released. Taliban members move on rollerblades near the truck moving forward on the road. The Telegraph reported that Taliban members wearing military uniforms were moving along the road giving traffic instructions.
The video was uploaded to YouTube on November 11 by Afghan parkour athlete Yadullah Marvi. The description of the 22-minute long video says that the first part of the skating is part of a military demonstration on the streets of Kabul. “Our members skating have been filmed in the video. People’s reactions are also depicted. Wait for the next part” – Yadulla Marvi noted.
A member of the Taliban’s security team said that among the young men in the group, skating is commonplace anywhere else in the world, but a rare sight on Kabul’s roads. The Taliban took control of Afghanistan on July 21, 2021.
