Seniors living in the City of Geneva will benefit from a 100 franc discount on the annual Unireso “All Geneva” subscription. The transport ticket will cost them 300 francs instead of 400 francs. The offer is aimed at women aged 64 and over and men aged 65 and over. It is made possible thanks to a subsidy of 200,000 francs released by the Municipality.
Seniors who are already TPG customers can go to the Cornavin, Lancy Pont-Rouge or Rive agencies to obtain a subscription. An online request is also possible on the tpg.ch website, in the “Offer from my municipality – Geneva” drop-down menu. Those who are not yet customers or have just settled in the municipality must request the financial contribution of 100 francs online on the TPG web shop or by calling customer service.
It should be noted that retirees who purchased their ticket between January 1 and February 14 at the price of 400 francs can be reimbursed 100 francs at TPG agency counters by presenting their subscription and proof of identity.
